Energy Concepts Corporation [ECC Solar] is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our field installation team. This position plays a critical role in the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring all electrical components are properly installed and functional. The pay for this position ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience, and includes a range of attractive benefits such as paid vacation and holidays, family health insurance reimbursement, and bonuses
Responsibilities
- Install meter loops and AC wiring to connect inverters and generators to the grid.
- Install and connect electrical components of solar energy systems, including inverters, panels, batteries, and generators.
- Ensure installations comply with electrical codes, safety standards, and system design specifications.
- Collaborate with the project manager and installation team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Conduct system testing to verify proper functionality and safety of installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Valid EE98J electrician’s license or experience to get one.
- Experience with electrical installations, preferably in renewable energy or solar systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment necessary for electrical work.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work a typical 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as needed.
