Job Overview
Energy Concepts Corporation is seeking an HVAC/Mechanical Technician to lead our growing mechanical services. This position covers ductless mini-split heat pumps, water well service, and gas connections for standby generators. You’ll work alongside our electrical and solar crews on whole-home energy projects across northern New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Install, service and repair ductless mini-split heat pump systems.
- Service and repair water wells and pump systems.
- Install gas piping and connections (propane and natural gas) for standby generators.
- Work closely with the team to ensure high-quality, code-compliant installations and repairs.
- Help train and cross-train other team members in mechanical work.
Requirements
- NM journeyman license in mechanical/HVAC or gas fitting, or enough documented hours to qualify for licensing. We will help you get licensed.
- EPA 608 refrigerant certification preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety and integrity in all work performed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Typical work week is 40 hours, Monday through Friday, with some overtime.
