Job Overview
Energy Concepts Corporation [ECC Solar] is seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installation Technician to join our installation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the renewable energy industry and contribute to our mission of delivering clean energy solutions to our customers. Responsibilities
- Install solar panels on various mounts, including ground mounts and roof mounts, following industry best practices and safety guidelines.
- Perform trenching and wiring work to connect solar panel arrays to the electrical system.
- Install and connect batteries and generators as required for energy storage and backup systems.
- Collaborate closely with the project manager and team members to ensure efficient and high-quality installations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Provide exceptional workmanship and attention to detail in every installation.
Requirements
- Prior experience in solar panel installation is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Comfort with working at heights, on roofs, and in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials, often weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Typical work week is 40 hours, Monday through Friday.
- Some installations may have overtime available.
