Job Overview
Energy Concepts Corporation is seeking a Technical Sales / System Designer to join our team. This is not a door-knocking job. Our customers come to us, and your role is to educate them, design the right solution for their needs, and prepare the proposal. Systems include solar PV, lithium battery backup, heat pumps, generators and off-grid power. We’ve been serving northern New Mexico since 1991, and we’ll train the right person on our systems and design process.
Responsibilities
- Meet with customers and conduct site visits across northern New Mexico.
- Assess customer needs and determine equipment locations and installation approach.
- Design systems and prepare proposals.
- Follow projects from first contact through signed contract and hand-off to the install team.
- Work closely with the field team to ensure designs are practical to install.
Requirements
- Strong technical aptitude. Electrical, construction or solar experience is a plus.
- Clear communicator who enjoys explaining technical topics to customers.
- Comfortable climbing on roofs and into crawlspaces to assess sites.
- Organized and self-motivated, with good follow-through.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with regular travel to customer sites.
